Kim's Story
after high school i went to k-state for a few years then decided to become a respiratory therapist. i got married, had two children and after twelve years of marriage decided to go it on my own. my children are grown. i've worked at the same hospital in kansas city for almost 30 years.

atient that was being worked up for a heart transplant. his name is merle and after a fast and furious love affair we recently got married.
he's doing well and drags me along to his donor awareness events that he's so involved with.
my life is good. i will have my first grandchild early next year so life keeps moving.
